Dig This

Spring makes its own statement, so loud and clear that the gardener seems to be only one of the instruments, not the composer. ~Geoffrey B. Charlesworth

Who doesn't love to garden? To be able to dig your fingers deep into the cool earth, plant bulbs and budding flowers, and wait patiently for everything to be in full bloom is more than just a hobby. It's a need in my soul. It relaxes me. It allows me to feel like I'm letting out my creativity for the whole neighboorhood to see.

It refreshes me.

Our little bulbs have started to sprout. Spring is here, and I need to be outside inhaling deep breaths of fresh air. It's cleansing. Like for a hot second all you need in life is this beautiful day and sunshine that fills it.

Awake, thou wintry earth -
Fling off thy sadness!
Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth
Your ancient gladness!

Spring is here! Now go play in the dirt.
