Lean With It...

I'm behind the ball. A really long time behind the ball...a month to be exact. Our little "little" has been eating solids since April and he loves it. OK, love is not a strong enough word. This kid devours everything you put in front of his face, and wants whatever we're eating or drinking, even if his belly is full. He's now starting pouting, yes...pouting, when he sees us eating and he can't have any. Sort of funny and cute, and a little annoying when your trying to scarf down dinner in 5 minutes before needing to run out the door again.

Here's Bubby on his first day of solids. We started with rice cereal. In my opinion, they should just call it cardboard box, because that's what it tastes like.

We warmed him up with some of his bottle. He likes to lean and we're not sure why. Kinda cute though. Hopefully he won't fall out.

When he had the edge taken off his hunger we shoved the first bite in his mouth.

He loved it! As seen here by the cutest little face on the entire planet.

Apparently we waited two seconds too long because in the process of us taking the spoon out of his mouth to refill it with food, this was the reaction we got. NOT the cutest face on the entire planet.

So Mommy quickly shoved more food in his mouth. That made him happy. Have I mentioned he really likes this stuff?!

We've moved on from "cardboard box" to applesauce, green beans, peas, squash, sweet potatoes, and prunes. His newest thing is to try and take the spoon out of Mommy's hand so he can feed himself. Messy...but cute. Keep up the growing, kid! We love you!
